Reassembled
A child’s face, part-covered with cracked textures and golden repairs, becomes a metaphor for the resilience of memory. This piece belongs to the Kintsugi series, where each portrait reflects a quiet strength formed in the fractures. Inspired by the Japanese art of repairing ceramics with gold, this work explores the emotional landscapes of children shaped by trauma, yet preserved with tenderness. Here, pain becomes a line of beauty, and brokenness — a testament to survival.
