“Apostles of Twilight” contemplates the threshold between worlds. A girl sits on a branch — a border — while halo-crowned crows gather around her. They are not omens of darkness but keepers of knowledge, speaking the language of transition between day and night, past and future. The gold ornaments are the light of memory; the black plumage is the ink in which the world writes its secret messages.
