Emprenabl is a poetic water-screen projection created in collaboration with Alexander Shcherbakov for the “Night of Light” festival in Gatchina (2025). Inspired by Paul I’s toy flotilla, the work is not a historical reconstruction but a reflection on how the memory of the past lives on in imagination — in mist, in ripples of water, and in the ghostly image of a ship born of light. Presented over three nights on a giant fan-shaped water screen, the installation fused light, water, and music into a single immersive experience.
